Analysis on the Trend of Migrant Population’s Income from the perspective of Education

Based on the Mincer income equation, this paper examines the impact of education on the income level of urban migrants, and analyzes the historical changes in the role of education from 2010 to 2015. The results show that the improvement of education has a positive effect on the income level of the migrants; from the historical trend, the in come gap brought by the education will become more and more significant; the degree of education has different impacts on the income of different types of migrants, and the role played on that of the new migrants is more obvious.
